Fred Seling, P.E. has been with Engineering Associates, Inc. since 1986. He has been involved with the planning, design, and management of transportation projects of all types during his tenure with the firm. His experience includes the design and management of bridge replacements, new bridges, new and rehabilitated interstate highways and local roadways, bike paths, railroad grade separations, culvert replacements, and right of way for ODOT and local governmental clients. Fred has successfully designed and managed projects with construction costs ranging from $10,000 to $100 million. He knows the processes that are needed to take a project from preliminary development through completion and uses his extensive background to foresee and overcome design challenges before they can have negative impacts to projects. His “can do” philosophy of project management is used on all projects to ensure that the client’s needs are understood and then met or exceeded. He has taken numerous ODOT and other transportation planning classes and is familiar with ODOT and other regulatory agency planning and design requirements.
Fred is very active in ACEC Ohio having served in many committee and leadership positions including Chair of the Board in 2017-2018. He was the Chair of the ACEC Ohio PAC Trustees in 2021.
